About The Position
Performs manual and clerical duties, which may utilize computers in the preparation of materials, supplies, and equipment for use in manufacturing. Requirements
- 0-1 Years with high school diploma/degree/equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency in SAP and WM
- Experience working in warehouse
Responsibilities
- Transfers raw materials into bins and kanbans using SAP and possibly a radio-frequency device (e.g., identifying the specific part number, lot number, quantity and location of all items on an order) to fulfill work orders.
- Picks materials for orders based on work orders requirements
- Perform breakdwown and labeling prior to moving materials for manufcaturing uses
- Transports material (e.g., production and non-production materials), using material handling equipment.
- Receives shipments physically and in-transit from internal customers and packages items using the appropriate materials (e.g., cardboard boxes and packaging tape) to properly prepare items for shipment.
- Performs SAP transactions to clearly identify status of product.
- Reads, comprehends and follows basic job instructions and/or protocols including verbal, written, diagramed, colored and other related documents; written in English.
- Ensure physical and system inventory locations match
- Maintain inventory accuracy via proper identification, material placement, labeling and record of location physically and systematically
- Supply manufacturing with materials via material loading in the Kanban Bin
- Ensure proper 5S and housekeeping in warehouse areas
