About The Position

This position is responsible for managing manufacturing production in downstream and chromotography functional areas. Objectives include developing and implementing production procedures for established products that optimize production while meeting regulatory requirements. Also responsible for the transfer of new technology into the production process.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in clinical or commercial APT production.
• Knowledge of cGMP development and validation in solid phase synthesis, chromatography, UF, and freeze-drying.
• Experience dealing with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Establish and adhere to development and production guidelines.
• Develop work schedules/plans for their department.
• Monitor overall processes to ensure compliance with company and cGMP standards.
• Supervise activities of line supervisors and technical support staff.
• Review processes and resource allocation to assure resources and assets are utilized efficiently.
