Manufacturing Lead (1st shift)

About The Position

Manufacturing leaders plan, organize, and establish a recommendation for manufacturing strategies. They make sure that products are successfully developed based on the specifications. You will be a key part of our team with elevated responsibility for our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on position that requires you to have computer and machine knowledge.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
High school diploma or GED
Intermediate knowledge of computers, machine setup up, and operating experience
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
The noise level in the work environment is usually high
Personal protective equipment is required including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Responsibilities

Ensure work procedures are being followed and expedite workflow.
Issue written and oral instructions.
Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.
Maintain harmony among workers.
Assist employees with work process problems.
Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
Work with Manufacturing Manager on continuous improvement projects.
Trouble shoot errors to eliminate the possibility of occurring again.
Contribute to the daily output of the department.
Communication and teamwork within and outside the department.
Supervise the manufacturing process.
Other duties as assigned
