In this role, your responsibilities will be to conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules. You will perform multiple forms of surface preparation for cleaning and painting, and segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions. Maintaining equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks is also required. The position focuses on producing quality parts/assemblies, eliminating the cost of non-conformance, and performing all required testing, paperwork, quality records, and documents. You will align with all safety and work instructions, maintain clear communication within the department, and uphold departmental housekeeping rules and standards. Additionally, you will be expected to reduce lead times, optimize the production cycle to conform to "make-to-order" processes, and maintain competitive costs associated with assembly, including labor, material, tooling, and inventory.
