Requirements

  • Possess manufacturing knowledge
  • Adept at using hand tools
  • Proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in manufacturing or inventory management
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service or related role
  • Knowledge in Solumina or SAP tools
  • Ability to obtain interim security clearance prior to start
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite (outlook, excel, etc.)
  • Must be a US Citizen for security clearance consideration

  • Able to push breadracks and carts continuously throughout the workday and lift items weighing up to 20 lb.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, including Lockheed Martin Proprietary Information (LMPI)
  • Demonstrate a strong team player mentality, including: Willingness to assist and support colleagues as needed. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members and stakeholders. Commitment to achieving team goals and objectives.
  • Experience in a related industry (e.g. manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, restaurant, etc.)
  • Certification in material management or a related field
  • Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory management principles

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve any material-related issues
  • Review master production schedule to identify potential and actual material shortages
  • Alert proper authorities of potential problems and take proactive measures to mitigate delays
  • Provide progress reports on assigned programs or areas through maintaining accurate records of orders
  • Expedite parts to different areas of the facility to maintain processes
  • Report on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of material movements, inventory levels, and production schedules. Be able to speak and present on items.
  • Be open-minded and receptive to new ideas and perspectives, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and procedures
  • Continuously seek ways to improve the material dispatch process, including suggesting innovative solutions and participating in process improvement initiatives
