Primary Responsibilities We are seeking a motivated individual to work as a Manufacturing Engineering Technician on 1st Shift. The hours for this position are M-F 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM. This position has a strong emphasis on Fabrication within our manufacturing environment. This position would be working in a hands-on manufacturing environment where safety, quality and teamwork are of utmost importance. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience in a fabrication role
Able to work independently and within teams
Able to learn on the fly and be an excellent problem solver
Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Experience with the operation of and programming of sheet metal equipment
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in industrial engineering technology or related
Experience reading electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics
Experience with Amada, Cincinnati, Fanuc Robotics, Allen Bradley Controls

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot equipment and perform root cause analysis / Corrective Actions
Program corrections for various sheet metal and plastics fabrication equipment
Assist with new product introductions through program development and optimization
Assume equipment responsibility for downtime, preventative maintenance and improvements
Key team member in operator training sessions
Ensure safety throughout manufacturing practices, procedures and equipment
