The Manufacturing Engineering Intern is responsible for general support to the
Manufacturing and Test Engineering team for the manufacturing and testing of
power switching components and power distribution subsystem.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled or recently graduated from a four-year university, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in designing and modeling in AutoCAD
• Skills in Inventor, Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• To conform to U.S. Export Control Regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorization from the U.S. Government

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Altium (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Supports the creation, releasing and controlling of Manufacturing Job Instructions
• Provide support to the manufacturing/test engineers in various job duties
• Supports all continuous improvement initiatives such as Productivity Projects
• Establishes and documents Labor Time Standards
• Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above
• Understand and live by Leach’s ethics and business conduct policies
• Performs other duties as required
