About The Position
A global manufacturing company has a need for a full-time Manufacturing Engineer. The Engineer is responsible for lean deployment and implementation, cost reduction development, production readiness for new programs, methods improvement, plant layout and operational procedures.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing manufacturing and continuous improvement programs
- Assisting and driving flow improvement projects
- Coordinating with design engineers on new product development
- Project expenditure justification
- Analyzing cost reduction possibilities, developing reduction proposals and implementing solutions
- Maintaining documentation as required in MFGPRO
