About The Position

Manufacturing Engineer The role contributes factory input during project sign-off and closure, focusing on test protocols, assessing risk, quality, efficiency, and adherence to manufacturing standards. Your role: Provides input for manufacturing requirements within the PDLM system, aligns with production needs and facilitates smooth transitions from product development to manufacturing , thereby enhancing efficiency and quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Implements enhancements in manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to drive quality and efficiency improvements, and monitors the performance of processes, tools, and equipment following project handover, ensuring seamless continuity and addressing any operational challenges that arise. Exercises judgment within defined procedures/practices to determine appropriate action, applying analytical skills to resolve medium complexity requests efficiently, applies lean manufacturing principles, employing methodologies to streamline production processes, minimize waste, optimize resource utilization, and enhance overall efficiency within the manufacturing environment. Implements Capex optimization initiatives for recurring investments in manufacturing processes, aiming to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity. Procures and installs recurring equipment at the site, ensuring seamless integration into manufacturing processes and adherence to quality standards. Generates test protocols and reports, including those for process validation and test method validation. Generates work instructions and test procedures for manufacturing. Analyzes products for DFMAT. Interfaces with suppliers and contract manufacturers for design transfer and ongoing sustaining engineering activities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as Test Controls, Manufacturing/Operations environment and Engineering.
  • Skills include manufacturing principles, quality monitoring, equipment installations, process validation, product lifecycle management, process improvements, lean manufacturing, business acumen, cost optimization, Six Sigma, design for manufacturability, regulatory compliance, and CAPA methodologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree / Vocational Education in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in CAD is desired.
  • Lean Six Sigma or equivalent is preferred.
