About The Position

XYBIX SYSTEMS, a leading innovative ergonomic furniture manufacturer in Littleton, CO is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their existing team! We manufacture customized sit-stand furniture for 911 dispatch centers, medical centers, public utilities, security applications, call centers, and more! We are hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to process daily work and assist with the design of new products from concept through production to improve all facets within the value stream. Our Manufacturing Engineer must be able to work in a team environment, provide innovative solutions and bring to life the next ‘big’ thing in health and productivity in the workplace. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering required (or related field).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience utilizing 2D/3D CAD.
  • Engineering related experience in a manufacturing environment (course work and/or internships will be considered).?
  • Working knowledge of CNC programming (RouterCIM, project nesting) and CNC machines.
  • Working knowledge of bill of material structuring and ECO processes.
  • Working knowledge of ERP software and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent teamwork, communications skills, and efficiency with time management.

Nice To Haves

  • Millwork design and multi-material fabrication experience preferred.
  • LEAN training and/or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and update new and existing product line.
  • Utilize Inventor/Auto CAD to create product drawings.
  • Generate CNC programs and organize output files.
  • Convert quotes and sales orders to manufacturing jobs.
  • Maintain and organize current orders by identifying priority requirements.
  • Generate engineering reports, as required.
  • Create routings and bill of materials.
  • Communicate with internal departments to clarify engineering questions.
  • Create instructions for customers and clients for installation and manufacturing.
  • Provide document control management.
