As a Manufacturing Engineer in Faribault, MN, you will: Lead floor‑level engineering projects, including equipment guarding, workstation changes, BOM updates, and drawing/model revisions Drive cross‑functional initiatives, mentoring junior engineers and partnering with production supervisors to align safety, quality, and efficiency goals Work hands‑on in the manufacturing environment, actively engaging with production teams to solve real‑time challenges Implement practical engineering solutions that improve safety, workflow, and overall operational performance Lead continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to deliver measurable productivity and cost‑reduction gains Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners across southern Minnesota Contribute to projects that impact communities in Faribault, Northfield, Owatonna, Waseca, and the greater Twin Cities Apply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation Please consider joining Applied's team of talented employees in Faribault and the greater Twin Cities metro area working on-site from our Brooklyn Park office. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • 2-3 years of previous manufacturing engineering experience required
  • Proficiency in Solidworks for updating models and drawings
  • BOM creation and maintenance
  • Ability to manage and implement floor-level projects, such as equipment guarding and workstation repositioning
  • Familiarity with safety standards and ergonomic principles in manufacturing settings
  • Capable of working independently and as a team member
  • Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
  • Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Desire to work on a variety of projects
