The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing and optimizing physical production cells and workflows, including production cell layout, product flow, early-stage Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and the supporting processes and control documents required to maintain a safe, repeatable, and high-quality manufacturing environment. In addition, the Manufacturing Engineer may support product value streams across all facilities through plant layout development, process flow optimization, and project engineering activities. This role is also called upon to troubleshoot complex or persistent product and process flow issues across the organization.
