About The Position
MANUFACTURING ENGINEER INTERNSHIP Are you looking for a great internship opportunity in San Luis Obispo as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, then we would like to hear from you. This internship is for our Winter/Spring Manufacturing Internship Program. This is not our summer internship program, that will be posted at a later date. Company Overview: Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. is seeking Interns with a background in Manufacturing Engineering to join our team for our Fall/Winter Internship program. ESAero is a growing aerospace company in the San Luis Obispo area and provides various services which include but are not limited to rapid system development, on-demand niche engineering, hands-on development/testing, and UAS aerospace system manufacturing.
Requirements
- Current or recent engineering student
- Demonstrated clear communication & writing skills
- Demonstrated application of engineering knowledge and skills
- Willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and make it happen
- Consistently abide by all safety requirements
- Must present proof of authorization to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass background check
Responsibilities
- Assist in all engineering efforts: Requirements, Design, Built, Test, Delivery
- Help to create solutions to complex technical problems
- Build and set up equipment
- Assist in the creation of prototypes
- Assist in creating build documentation
- Utilize machining tools to modify and create parts
- Assist with Work Packets
