You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Asc for the GMLRS ER program. As a team, we are responsible for translating hardware specifications into tooling and equipment designs, supporting the production floor, and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Aerospace, or other related discipline from an accredited college.
Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, CREO, SolidWorks, or similar modeling software.
Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Demonstrated ability for basic problem solving.
Entry level understanding of basic hand tools.
Must be a US Citizen.
This position will require a government security clearance.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Responsibilities

Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item.
Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Creo / Solid Works.
Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
Developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and systems.
