We are seeking talented Industrial engineers to join our team to help develop many best-in-class products and solutions in our Missiles & Fire Control Business Area in Orlando, FL. As part of the for the Industrial Engineering team, you will help turn arrays of data into actionable information for making business decisions, and apply industrial engineering/lean six sigma concepts to support site manufacturing process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline (Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science)
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python)
  • Ability to develop automated data visuals/tools that support improvement processes (Tableau, Cognos, Power BI)
  • Strong analytical mindset, effective communication, teamwork orientation, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced setting
  • Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
  • Candidate must be customer-focused with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and work effectively team and all levels of management.
  • Candidate should be a self-starter with demonstrated self-initiated goals and results.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ETL data processing
  • Exposure to the back-end of ERP/Manufacturing Execution Systems (e.g., SAP)
  • SQL Familiarity
  • Experience working with Simio Simulation Modeling or other discrete event simulation modeling
  • Data Collection experience (Streamlit)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Applying analytics tools (Tableau, Excel, Python, R, etc.) to analyze data and provide insights
  • Developing and maintaining capacity and manpower planning models to support manufacturing operations
  • Creating, maintaining, and distributing KPI reporting (Tableau, Cognos, Python, etc.)
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement
  • Improving discrete-event simulation models
