We are seeking a laboratory-based Manufacturing Associate specializing in life sciences and related laboratory skills including isolation, characterization and culturing of mammalian cells. This position requires the candidate to perform laboratory duties including the use of standard operating procedures utilizing a variety of lab techniques, problem solving skills, research and experiential learning. Additional responsibilities include performing laboratory testing in the areas of bacteriology, PCR, and CANARY. Operations associates plan and execute laboratory maintenance, monitoring, inventory of supplies, ordering of supplies and cleaning laboratory equipment. Applicant must be able to work independently and as an integral member of the manufacturing team. Experience in quality assurance or knowledge of quality systems is a plus. The ability to use various laboratory equipment such as microscopes, centrifuges, balances, etc. is required.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop manufacturing processes for product assembly procedures and biosensor production.
  • Independently conduct reagent stability studies.
  • Lead and assist with the production of CANARY® biosensors.
  • Maintain accurate production documents, lab records and logbooks.
  • Perform quality control tests on reagents, completed products and product samples.
  • Prepare equipment, finished products and samples prior to shipping to customers.
  • Maintain supply and reagent inventories.
  • Lead maintenance and calibration of lab facilities and equipment, including control of inventory and chemical supplies.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts and contribute to the development and production of innovative products.
  • Follow company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality System Regulations (QSR) to ensure product integrity and quality control.
