About The Position

- Implement and support automation systems to improve process efficiency and product quality. - Lead and assist with system fabrication, equipment selection, and programming for automated systems. - Develop all technical documentation, including recommended spare parts and preventative maintenance schedules for equipment. - Ensure automation systems are completed in a timely manner. - Analyze electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics, troubleshoot operational issues, and determine material specifications. - Engage with vendors and technology suppliers to evaluate and select technology applicable to industrial manufacturing processes. - Develop business case, application, and theory of operations and prepare justification for senior management. - Adapt new technologies to legacy processes and machinery. - Coordinate with business leadership on Industry 4.0 strategy deployment. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing or Operations. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158. Relocation benefits are being offered for this position. 3 years of experience working with technical, production processes and equipment. Advanced degree in Engineering or another related technical field Aerospace experience a plus. Six Sigma Green or Black Belt. Experience preparing specifications and standards.
