About The Position

You will be the Manufacturing Associate Manager for the Manufacturing Operations Team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑quality products while driving continuous improvement in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading supervisors, support staff, and electrical technicians to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule goals. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Recruiting, selecting, training, and developing team members. Managing performance assessments, work assignments, cross‑training, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Collaborating with cross‑functional partners (engineering, quality, planning, maintenance, ESH) to execute core metrics. Driving a continuous‑improvement mindset and cultivating a high‑performing work environment. Ensuring customer requirements and business objectives are consistently met. Requirements

  • Manufacturing knowledge/experience in a combination of the following: PDRR, Harness, MRO / CFS , PWB & CCA is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills in team building and leading.
  • Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience / understanding.
  • Ability to obtain US Government issued Secret security Clearance.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

  • Proficient in SAP, MRO, Apriso
  • Greenbelt Certification
  • Knowledge of CBA and interaction with Union Leadership Experience in:
  • First line supervision
  • Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Programmatic/Operations cost and estimating
  • Driving continuous improvement/cost reduction activities
  • Support MFC Operations execution processes
  • PMT, ELC, CAB, and Production Risk Assessments
  • Input to Capital and infrastructure plans
  • Understanding and supporting MRP/SAP transactions that support manufacturing.
  • Appropriate political acumen to successfully interact with Program Senior Management, Sr. Management, HR and Union Leadership.
  • Clear understanding of the production processes employed by Lockheed Martin.
