Manufacturing Associate I (1st Shift 4x10)

Requirements
- High School Graduate/GED or prior Eagle Window and Door employment
- Basic reading and math skills
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to use hand tools and related equipment
- Oral communication skills
- Basic team skills
- Basic organizational skills
- Ability to operate lift equipment as needed
- Physical ability to perform job duties
- Ability to lift and maneuver product. (Some position may require lifting up to 50 lbs.)
- Ability to lift and maneuver bulky product
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, lift product throughout the assembly process
- Understanding of related safety policies and procedures
Responsibilities
- Perform various window and door assembly functions from start to finish
- Advise team members of shortages/quality issues
- Inspect each phase of assembly to assure quality
- Review and maintain production lists
- Identify proper materials
- Ability to constructively work with others
- Perform Safety audits
- Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions
- Participate in continuous improvement process and other lean initiatives
- Coach and train new associates
- Assure conformance with the 5S program
- Assure compliance with all safety related policies and procedures
- Understand and participate in achieving departmental and company goals
- Serve as a member of the departmental team providing assistance as required
