Requirements

  • High School Graduate/GED or prior Eagle Window and Door employment
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to use hand tools and related equipment
  • Oral communication skills
  • Basic team skills
  • Basic organizational skills
  • Ability to operate lift equipment as needed
  • Physical ability to perform job duties
  • Ability to lift and maneuver product. (Some position may require lifting up to 50 lbs.)
  • Ability to lift and maneuver bulky product
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, lift product throughout the assembly process
  • Understanding of related safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Perform various window and door assembly functions from start to finish
  • Advise team members of shortages/quality issues
  • Inspect each phase of assembly to assure quality
  • Review and maintain production lists
  • Identify proper materials
  • Ability to constructively work with others
  • Perform Safety audits
  • Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions
  • Participate in continuous improvement process and other lean initiatives
  • Coach and train new associates
  • Assure conformance with the 5S program
  • Assure compliance with all safety related policies and procedures
  • Understand and participate in achieving departmental and company goals
  • Serve as a member of the departmental team providing assistance as required
