About The Position

The Managing Director, GTM Cloud and Security Solutions is a high-impact sales leadership role responsible for driving the growth, strategy, and P&L of NTT DATA's North American presales solution architecture team. This leader will orchestrate the transition from traditional IT outsourcing to the next generation of managed services, leveraging NTT DATA’s Agentic AI workforce and Unified Platform to deliver leaner, high-performance operations for global clients. The role involves leading a team of elite architects designing complex, end-to-end private and public cloud solutions across a world-class partner ecosystem including Microsoft (Azure), AWS, Google Cloud, Palo Alto, Cisco, Rubrik, SAP, Oracle, and IBM. NTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100, committed to accelerating client success and positively impacting society through responsible innovation. Requirements

  • A rare blend of deep technical fluency (Azure, AWS, GCP) and executive polish, capable of leading complex customer conversations focused on business outcomes rather than just features.
  • Substantial experience in a global technology services organization, with a proven track record of managing both onshore and offshore delivery models.
  • A leader who is not afraid to challenge the status quo, publicly identifying where adjustments are needed to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or business.
  • Professional-level certifications in at least one major hyperscaler (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Demonstrated success in a sales/solutions leadership role managing budgets, business development, and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Required to work across a matrixed organization with an independent, startup mindset.
  • Responsible for the allocated team target and budget and for forecasting and owning the pipeline.
  • Required to operate with ‘owner’ of P&L mindset and continuously look to ways to improve profitability without compromising delivery.
  • Travel as needed for business needs up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic and operational management of Cloud and Security practice solutions, ensuring alignment with NTT DATA’s global solutions and services strategy.
  • Own full P&L responsibility for the presales and practice solutions organization, including budget development, investment prioritization, and profitability management.
  • Lead sales pipeline management, providing accurate forecasting and lead generation initiatives to secure large-scale IT outsourcing deals.
  • Define, implement, and optimize a consistent, scalable, and sustainable practice model that accelerates business development and market success.
  • Lead the transformation of practice solutions across the global footprint, aligning regional execution with the global "solutions and services" strategy.
  • Act as a change agent, proactively identifying and leading adjustments required to maintain competitiveness in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
  • Direct ownership of the Cloud and Security solution portfolio, ensuring offerings are repeatable, scalable, differentiated, and aligned to client outcomes.
  • Spearhead the adoption of NTT DATA’s "Smart AI Agent Ecosystem," moving beyond simple automation to human-orchestrated autonomy in managed services.
  • Design and implement repeatable, scalable solution plays that leverage our unified platform to outpace larger, traditional outsourcers.
  • Authorize and drive solution design reviews to ensure technical feasibility, cost-efficiency (onshore/offshore balance), and alignment with client business outcomes.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing, matrixed organization.
  • Direct and coach a matrixed team of individual contributors and directors, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
  • Drive a "Community of Practice" where architects share best practices and information across the global system integrator (GSI) landscape.
