About The Position

The Managing Director, Client Services, Multifamily is responsible for generating property management opportunities within the Eastern United States, including working with a variety of institutional and private ownership groups.

Requirements

  • Customer Focus (internal and external) and Communication Proficiency (oral and written)

  • Interaction with all levels of Cushman and Wakefield as well as client groups
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong relationship mentality to serve our client’s needs
  • Experience in underwriting multifamily real estate
  • Excellent knowledge of multifamily real estate operations and market trends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven follow up skills and results
  • Ability to maintain relationships over a long period of time
  • Business Development and a proven track record in generating new business
  • Extensive experience in analyzing and negotiating contract language
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 10+ years of Property Management experience
  • 10+ years of Management experience
  • Proven track record of relationship building with institutional and private investors

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate Degree preferred
  • CPM and/or RPA comparable experience in a Senior Leadership role

Responsibilities

  • Create value through new business growth in Residential Portfolios, cross sell service lines and geographic locations for additional revenue for the firm, identify and pursue expansion of service opportunities with existing clients
  • Develop specific strategies and goals per client target
  • Coordinate client needs for acquisition support, due diligence, underwriting, development consulting, asset reviews, operating performance reviews, market analysis, and general support to existing clients to expand the business relationship and revenue stream to Cushman and Wakefield Multifamily
  • Leverage existing Cushman and Wakefield Multifamily relationships to cultivate business opportunities across the Cushman and Wakefield Multifamily platform
  • Attend and participate in industry association meetings and seminars to keep up to date on trends and changing conditions in the marketplace.
  • Participate in the marketing of the company on a local and regional level as needed.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of market dynamics within the Eastern United States
  • Communicate regularly with clients to ensure customer satisfaction with the company’s services.
