American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Managers, Business Development to analyze market trends and data to identify growth opportunities within the existing portfolio and with new lines of business. Develop and implement growth strategies for the business, identifying new spend opportunities and driving spend on card portfolios. Execute strategies for new business opportunities within an existing portfolio of accounts, prioritizing efforts across the portfolio. Monitor portfolio of early-tenure customers, high-potential customers, and/or high-spending customers, marketing to and engaging customers by linking their business priorities to American Express’s value proposition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience with data mining and data analysis.
  • 1 year of experience with performing data analysis to gain organizational insights and improve efficiency of the reporting environment
  • 1 year of experience with conducting qualitative analysis and market research
  • 1 year of experience with programming using Python
  • 1 year of experience with using MS Excel to structure data and generate models and reports
  • 1 year of experience with performing data analysis and forecasting using A/B testing, Confluence, Jira, SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Tableau

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and data to identify growth opportunities within the existing portfolio and with new lines of business.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies for the business, identifying new spend opportunities and driving spend on card portfolios.
  • Execute strategies for new business opportunities within an existing portfolio of accounts, prioritizing efforts across the portfolio.
  • Monitor portfolio of early-tenure customers, high-potential customers, and/or high-spending customers, marketing to and engaging customers by linking their business priorities to American Express’s value proposition.
