About The Position

The 3rd Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing all shift operations, including maintenance. Key duties involve ensuring adequate shift staffing, assisting supervisors with team training and leadership, meeting production and yield requirements, and enforcing all GMP and safety procedures. The role also includes monitoring and controlling budget spending and managing resources to align with established goals.

Requirements

• 7+ years supervisory and management experience within the poultry plant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adept with technology, computers, and math and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science or other closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all shift operations, including maintenance oversight.
• Ensure shift staffing and assist supervisors in training, coaching, and leading their teams.
• Ensure the production and yield requirements are met.
• Ensure all GMP and safety procedures are enforced.
• Monitor and control budget spending, managing resources within the goals set forth.
• All other relevant tasks to the job.
