About The Position

The Manager, Talent Management & Development is responsible for shaping and evolving Envision’s enterprise talent practices, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, leadership readiness, and assessments. This role ensures that talent processes are clear, scalable, and aligned to business priorities, enabling effective leadership behaviors and consistent, informed talent decisions across the organization. Working in close partnership with HR Business Partners and leaders, this role translates organizational priorities into practical talent practices that support how the business operates, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and inform where the organization invests in talent over time. Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
  • Deep expertise in performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning.
  • Experience designing enterprise talent practices that influence leadership behavior and decision-making.
  • Strong ability to translate strategy into practical, scalable processes and tools.
  • Experience partnering with HR Business Partners and senior leaders in a complex organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop team members.
  • Strong judgment, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7 years of experience in talent management, organizational development, or a related field.
  • Experience in healthcare, provider services, or similarly complex environments preferred.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:
  • Proficiency with HRIS and talent platforms, reporting tools, and standard business applications

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a center of expertise for talent management practices, partnering closely with HR Business Partners who execute talent processes with leaders.
  • Advances Envision’s enterprise performance management practices to ensure clarity of expectations, meaningful feedback, and consistent application across the organization.
  • Provides thought leadership and leads talent-related organizational design efforts to ensure structure, capability and role clarity algin with evolving business strategy.
  • Ensures talent and performance programs reinforce effective leadership and teammate behaviors aligned to organizational priorities.
  • Designs and enables enterprise talent review and calibration practices that surface strengths, development needs, and leadership potential.
  • Establishes and maintains leadership readiness indicators that support informed talent decisions and leadership continuity.
  • Leads the design of succession planning practices for key clinical and enterprise leadership roles, may facilitate sessions as needed.
  • Provides end-to-end oversight of enterprise leadership assessment programs, including defining how assessments are selected, administered, and used to inform development, readiness, and talent decisions.
  • Translates talent data, scorecards, and outcomes into insights that inform leadership discussions and development investments.
  • Leads employees by supporting, coaching, training, assisting with time management and performing evaluations; should conduct regular meetings with all direct reports.
