About The Position

The Manager of Talent Acquisition will recruit Managers and hourly Team Members for our brand. The Manager of Talent Acquisition will manage the entire recruiting life cycle in a high-volume environment. This individual will be responsible for job postings, pre-screening, coordinating, scheduling, and following up with candidates and MAH hiring Directors/Managers. The Manager of Talent Acquisition will also be responsible for ensuring that the hiring timelines are achieved for open positions by partnering with the Operations and Training Teams to source and evaluate both external and internal talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related subject matter
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience
  • Experience with Social Media and Applicant Tracking Systems (iCims ATS a plus)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Restaurant experience required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven detail orientation
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to hold oneself accountable
  • Travel as needed to New Restaurant Openings
  • Proven ability to be adaptable in a fast-paced environment

  • Bending, squatting, and lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
  • Occasional movement inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequent communication with Operations, Marketing, and Human Resources.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e., a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer).

Responsibilities

  • Sources candidates and stays updated on social media, websites, job board postings, networking, agencies, referrals, and direct recruiting to source and hire qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Supports Operations with high volume Team Member recruiting and hiring, manages Job Posting process, prioritizing staffing level needs per each restaurant location.
  • Partners with the Operations Team to identify, source, pre-qualify, and manage the Promote-from-Within (PFW) applicant process for hourly Team Members to be promoted to Manager positions.
  • Promotes and manages the internal Team Member Management Referral Program for the sourcing of Restaurant Managers.
  • Coordinates candidate interviews and site visits for Director of Operations and Divisional Vice Presidents.
  • Facilitates final hiring decisions with the Operations Team and extends job offers.
  • Oversees completion of Assessments, Background Checks, and Drug Testing for Manager candidates.
  • Coordinates Onboarding of New Hires and Restaurant Managers, including Offer Letters and Orientation.
  • Communicates with Field Training Team travel and hotel arrangements for Managers-in-Training.
  • Maintains the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to include the creation of job requisitions, forms, and offer letters.
  • Analyzes and prioritizes Manager and Team Member staffing par levels by restaurant location.
  • Facilitates hourly interview training sessions for Leadership & Management Camps.
  • Participates in New Restaurant Opening Kickoff Meetings for the hiring of all hourly Team Members.
  • Creates hiring strategies and achieves Operations hiring goals and recruiting department goals and promotes Company Core Values.
  • Acts as liaison between recruiting vendors and the Recruitment Department.
  • Completes assigned projects and company/departmental strategic initiatives as determined.
