About The Position

The Manager, Strategy Execution will provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the Head of business unit Pharma. This unique role offers the opportunity to gain deep insights into strategic and operational priorities across a global Pharma business unit through hands-on shadowing of business Leaders. In addition to traditional executive assistant responsibilities, this position will act as a business partner – learning the organization by attending key meetings, participating in cross-functional initiatives, and supporting project execution. The Strategy Execution Manager plays a key role in enabling and coordinating strategic initiatives, executive-level communications, and critical cross-functional projects. This position requires working onsite 3 days per week at one of our Chicagoland sites: either Melrose Park, IL, or Lake Zurich, IL. • Salary Range: $100,000-120,000. • Position is eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan with a target of 10% of the base salary. • Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. • Our benefits and programs are comprehensive and thoughtfully crafted to ensure our colleagues live healthy lives and have support when it matters most. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years’ related experience (preferably in management consulting or in transformation programs in a B2B industry).
  • Previous project management experience required.
  • Clear and effective communication, listening and presentation skills accompanied with strong critical thinking, problem resolution, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit strong leadership presence by guiding cross-functional efforts, shaping decisions, and driving execution through influence rather than direct supervisory authority.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project PowerPoint, Outlook), and other database/ERP concepts (i.e., SAP)
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends to meet business/customer needs.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality presentations support leadership communication and decision-making.
  • Proactively manage and monitor critical initiatives, projects and tasks across Portfolio and R&D, ensuring timely execution and cross-functional alignment within Pharma.
  • Provide hands-on support for daily business operations, including research, short-term analyses and project coordination.
  • Deliver targeted support for priority projects, ensuring measurable progress, and alignment leadership goals.
  • Serve as a central point of contact to promote effective collaboration across departments, regions and teams regions, and teams.
  • Manage key analytics to generate insights and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Lead the development of essential management reports, including preparation for R&D and Portfolio business reviews.
  • Assist in the development and execution of the annual strategy plan preparation for the Pharma business unit.
  • Organize and facilitate leadership team meetings, including setting agendas documenting discussions, and tracking action items to completion items.
  • Attend local, national, and global meetings as needed.
