About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to lead and grow a frontend engineering team responsible for building intuitive, high-impact web applications used in complex, real-world environments. Requirements

• The ideal candidate combines strong frontend expertise with proven leadership and communication skills.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with prior experience leading or mentoring frontend teams.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern frontend frameworks and tooling.
• Solid expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling approaches, with a strong eye for UI and UX quality.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and collaborating closely with backend teams.
• Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines, testing frameworks, and performance optimization techniques.
• Understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG and best practices for inclusive design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional setting.
• A collaborative mindset, strong sense of ownership, and willingness to continuously learn and upskill.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, providing technical direction, feedback, and career development support.
• Define and uphold frontend engineering standards, best practices, and architectural patterns.
• Contribute directly to the design and implementation of complex, scalable frontend applications.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and infrastructure teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, accessible, and performant user interfaces.
• Oversee code reviews, documentation, and testing practices to maintain high code quality.
• Support hiring efforts and help scale the frontend team as the organization grows.
