About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Engineering Lead to shape the architecture, development, and evolution of complex, high-performance web interfaces. In this role, you will lead a team of frontend engineers, collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver scalable, secure, and intuitive experiences. You will define best practices, implement modern frameworks, and optimize performance while mentoring and guiding your team. Requirements

• Candidates should have strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and familiarity with modern frontend and blockchain technologies.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior engineering role.
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks (Vite, Next.js, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of state management, component architecture, and build systems.
• Experience integrating with Web3 technologies (e.g., ethers.js, wagmi, WalletConnect, MetaMask) and smart contracts.
• Familiarity with backend APIs, GraphQL, and data flow between frontends, backends, and blockchain systems.
• Solid grasp of UX/UI principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and mentorship skills.
• Highly collaborative, self-directed, and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively across global teams, ideally within the Americas or European time zones.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in computer science or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the frontend engineering strategy and architecture, including scalable interfaces interacting with APIs and smart contracts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Backend teams to define technical direction and priorities.
• Mentor and guide frontend engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and performance feedback.
• Establish best practices for frontend development, including testing, deployment, security, and accessibility.
• Optimize performance, responsiveness, and maintainability of web applications.
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and scaling the frontend team.
• Stay current with frontend trends, frameworks, and emerging technologies relevant to web3 and decentralized applications.
