As an Operations Manager at Ryder, you will be part of a fast-paced team, driven to succeed and empowered to develop your operations and managerial career within an essential industry. This role involves managing the operations and personnel for locations with approximately 131 – 370 truck units. You will oversee Operations Supervisors, Technicians-In-Charge, Customer Service Coordinators, Technicians, Service Employees, and/or a Parts Responsible Person. The Ops Manager is expected to achieve results through direct involvement and limited delegation, ensuring business objectives and labor requirements are met. Key responsibilities include meeting customer needs while balancing financial, operating, quality, safety, and asset targets. This position is responsible for managing location performance against metrics, ensuring compliance with company processes, Standard Operating Procedures, and Standard Repair Practices, and adhering to all Ryder Maintenance Operations policies. This role is also a developmental position, preparing incumbents for a Senior Operations Manager role, offering a path for career growth and internal promotion based on performance.
