Reporting into the Product Channel Merchandising team, this role partners closely with Merchandising and Marketing to structure agreements, manage external partnerships, and lead project execution that supports brand marketing initiatives and drives revenue growth. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in apparel retail
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to connect the dots between multiple workstreams and cross functional teams

  • Confident and well-spoken, ability to present to multiple levels of the company

Responsibilities

  • With Brand leadership, develop and implement strategic partnerships and collaboration initiatives that align with Abercrombie & Fitch Co’s brand vision and business objectives.
  • Partner with Brand and Marketing leaders, oversee end-to-end execution of partnership and collaboration initiatives including contract negotiations, relationship management, and project deliverables.
  • Act as the primary project manager for all partnership initiatives, tracking product milestones, managing communication (internally and externally), and ensuring seamless execution across teams.
  • Establish and implement effective ways of working across teams to support new partnership models, platforms, and channels ensuring operational readiness across technology, logistics, and timelines for successful execution.
  • Provide ongoing project updates to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership, ensuring visibility and alignment.
  • Work closely with creative and brand marketing teams to develop assets for partnership and collaboration projects, coordinating necessary internal and external approvals.
  • Collaborate with Design and Merchandising to align merchandise plans, royalty forecasts, and new product opportunities to maximize revenue and brand impact.
  • In partnership with Legal, manage contract negotiations and execution for partnerships, sponsorships, collaborations, and special projects, ensuring compliance, brand integrity, and cross departmental support.
  • Identify potential risks and collaborate with leadership to develop strategic solutions.
  • Have strong knowledge of the product development calendar to effectively manage to key deadlines, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met across internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with relevant Sourcing partners to help build and track appropriate triggers within the product development process, ensuring product will come to life on the timeline we need it to.
