About The Position

As the Security Manager, you will lead a team of security professionals to protect Rosendin employees, projects, and assets. You will oversee site security operations, ensure compliance with Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) requirements, conduct risk assessments, manage emergency preparedness efforts, and partner cross-functionally with Safety, HR, and Operations leadership.

Requirements

  • 10–12 years of experience in physical security operations, law enforcement, military, or corporate risk management.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience leading physical security or risk management teams.
  • Expertise in workplace violence prevention, hazard identification, incident management, and emergency planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of physical security systems and technologies (access control, intrusion detection, CCTV).
  • Strong collaboration, leadership, coaching, and conflict management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and incident management platforms.
  • Knowledge of WVPP standards and OSHA workplace safety regulations preferred.
  • Ability to manage a dispersed security team across multiple projects or sites.
  • Strong leadership and employee development skills.
  • Skilled in influencing stakeholders across diverse business units.
  • Clear, confident decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.
  • Ability to develop and execute operational security plans and drive results.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of WVPP standards and OSHA workplace safety regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage Security Specialists, Senior Specialists, and Security Assistants across assigned regions or projects.
  • Develop, implement, and manage regional security programs, policies, and procedures aligned with Rosendin's corporate standards and WVPP.
  • Oversee scheduling, task assignment, and performance management for security team members.
  • Lead physical security audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness initiatives.
  • Support and oversee incident investigations, response protocols, and post-incident reviews.
  • Collaborate with Safety, HR, Field Operations, and Facilities leadership to drive integrated risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage relationships with security vendors, contractors, and external law enforcement as needed.
  • Ensure training, coaching, and professional development for direct reports.
  • Monitor and analyze security trends and risks; recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to budgeting and resource planning for physical security programs.
  • Report out to Senior Manager and Director levels regarding security program status, risks, and performance.
