About The Position

The Manager, Sales has a proven track record of managing and leading payments and/or software sales teams. The Manager, Sales is responsible for developing, motivating and guiding the team to monthly, quarterly and annual quota attainment with a focus on expanding partnerships with existing logos in a SaaS license model, with primary responsibility for revenue generation and growth. Our ideal candidate provides passionate leadership and ensures execution of productivity and revenue expectations for their team. This position will be exciting, challenging and require a deep understanding of SaaS related sales methodologies and processes. Experience in leading a sales team across multiple lead sources to accelerate operational efficiencies and sales outcomes will be critical. You will have the opportunity to utilize in-depth knowledge of sales tools, techniques and methodologies, as well as the customer experience and our ecosystem, to accelerate growth. By partnering effectively with stakeholders such as Marketing, Finance and Revenue Operations, you will advance key priorities, innovate improvements and inspire change.

Requirements

  • 2+ years sales management experience in cloud or enterprise technology sales
  • 2+ year in inbound/outbound sales with proven track record of success
  • Experience leveraging prospecting tools and platforms (lead generation, email, phone, video, data enrichment & cleansing, etc.)
  • Ability to hire, onboard, and continuously train team members
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing conditions at a fast-paced, growing company
  • Ability to successfully manage people to achieve performance goals
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships to meet shared goals
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • A commanding desire to succeed in sales leadership
  • Passion to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player attitude who also enjoys and thrives in healthy competition

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, develop and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed individual and team KPIs and goals.
  • Foster a positive, high-energy work environment that encourages continuous learning and improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for lead generation, qualification, and pipeline development.
  • Align sales activities with overall sales goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to ensure consistent achievement of targets.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, and provide actionable feedback to drive improvement.
  • Identify and implement best practices, tools, and processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness within the Core team.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine lead qualification processes to improve conversion rates.
  • Work closely with the Marketing, Sales, Enablement and Product teams to ensure alignment on messaging, campaigns, and target audience.
  • Provide feedback and insights to enhance lead quality and sales processes.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategy.
  • Actively use Salesforce, Tableau, Gong and Outreach to manage sales processes and set standards for performance metrics
  • Ensure team productivity and efficiency by monitoring dashboards, reports, & productivity tools usage like Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Coordinate with senior sales management to maximize team collaboration and attain aggressive pipeline goals.
