As a Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to lead a team of exceptional Sales Engineers in delivering flawless solutions and architectures for Data Protection, Analytics, Storage, Virtualization, Database, and Cloud to our biggest clients. At Cohesity, we believe in the power of collaboration and inclusion. As a Manager, you will have close interactions with various teams, including Cohesity Sales, Customers, Engineering, Support, Product Marketing, and Partners. Your expertise and leadership will guide and empower our SE team to successfully compete in the market and drive solution closure time, deal sizes, and solution win rate.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of demonstrated success in a customer-facing pre-sales role, proposing enterprise solutions at all levels of a customer organization.
  • 5+ years of successful experience managing Sales Engineers' teams.
  • Experience in cooperating with customers and technology partners.
  • Experience selling Enterprise Hardware or Software, Cloud Platforms, IaaS, PaaS, or Virtual Infrastructure software.
  • Comfort in working with multiple decision-makers to drive proposals.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both technical and business, to small and large groups within the customer hierarchy.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Consistent track record of building strong relationships internally and working cross-organizationally.
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter, comfortable working remotely and autonomously.
  • Willingness to travel within the prescribed territory as needed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Must have English language proficiency (Can interact with a degree of fluency when speaking, reading, and writing in a professional and specialized setting).

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in the North East, assisting with strategic customer opportunities and engagements.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering their technical expertise and customer knowledge.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for the territory, ensuring high quality presales strategy and execution.
  • Directly engage in the data security and insights strategy for our largest customers and partners.
  • Communicate Cohesity's vision by developing and delivering product presentations, demonstrations, and workshops
  • Guide the team in successfully implementing proof of concepts to showcase the value of Cohesity technology.
  • Collaborate with product management to convey customer requirements and contribute to product development and improvements.
