Manages sales develomenet representatives who are responsible for scheduling qualified meetings with prospective Datadog customers for the purpose of developing opportunities to be closed by the sale team. Trains, mentors, coaches, and oversees sales developmenet representatives through phase 3 of the SDR Journey. Manages and mentors a team of Sales Development Representatives. Takes the lead in hiring, interviewing and onboarding new team members. Coaches Sales Development Representatives on how to assess potential customers, cater strategically to each prospect, manage potential objections, all in order to set new business meetings for the Sales team. Motivates individuals and team to exceed monthly and quarterly objectives through coaching and creative incentives. Prepares Sales Development Representatives for future responsibilities as Account Executives within the Datadog sales organization. Develops and maintains accurate team forecasts for senior leadership team. Implements improvements to established workflows. Manages projects from concept to completion. Works on problems of diverse scope. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, evaluating, adapting of complex techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Work is reviewed upon completion and is consistent with departmental objectives. Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points. Manage the work efforts of supervisors and/or individual contributors with responsibility for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Typically requires a 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years and a Master’s degree.
