About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Sales Development Center. These duties include equipping newly hired sales professionals with the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to excel in their roles. Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and resources that help salespeople understand their products or services, develop effective communication and negotiation abilities, and learn how to prospect, close deals, and build lasting customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field.
  • May require certification.
  • Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of experience in inside sales and operations.
  • Experience in hiring, managing, and training inside sales teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with CRM or related software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate newly hired inside sales associates to maximize the potential of each salesperson and contribute to the overall success of the sales team and HDS.
  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture that promotes continuous learning and development.
  • Implement KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the sales development team's efforts. Regularly analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to improve results.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance associate’s product knowledge, sales skills, and objection handling techniques. Identify skill gaps and create personalized development plans for team members.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on the sales development team's performance to senior management. Communicate insights, challenges, and recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach by understanding customer pain points and needs and incorporating feedback into sales development strategies.
