POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager, Revenue Operations leads the team responsible for the development and implementation of pricing tools, algorithms, and capabilities that support revenue management activities and executing monthly pricing processes and analyzing results of pricing initiatives. The incumbent also leads the revenue management department’s data processing and storage strategy, including developing innovative methods for leveraging automation and data analysis to improve outcomes and drive informed decision making. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the professional development and growth of technical team of analysts, engineers, and developers, in support of the company’s revenue growth and pricing optimization efforts. Acts as the primary “product owner” liaison between development team and business leaders in support of ownership and optimization of existing revenue operations tools and solutions. Participates in determination of stakeholder needs and ensures business value is realized. Determines data analysis goals given business objectives. Helps determine data requirements and performance metrics to support analysis. Implements best practices and repeatable processes that ensure consistent, quality delivery of modeling and analytics work. This encompasses responsibility for quality control including ensuring that appropriate documentation and peer review processes are in place. Develops creative and innovative methods and tools for reviewing, analyzing, forecasting, and presenting data and analysis. Communicates analytical results to Director-and-above leaders in revenue management and sales in a consultative manner, and always at a level that is consistent with the target audience. Demonstrates attention to detail, organization, and deliverables, including driving projects to completion in accordance with established timelines. Builds and manages a best-in-class operations, analytics, and reporting team. Responsible for identifying opportunities to improve product functionality to support all aspects of pricing strategy and execution. Responds effectively to requests for ad-hoc analyses. Translate business inquiries into actionable reports or dashboards to monitor KPIs, while highlighting areas of concern and/or opportunity. Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
