About The Position

Develops and implements revenue cycle quality programs to achieve targets and deliver measurements aligned with Advocate Aurora Health’s revenue cycle strategies. Researches, establishes, and evaluates revenue cycle key performance indicators, providing clear guidance on core measures. Provides tools and training for leaders and team members to support understanding and execution of quality expectations. Engages and collaborates with multidisciplinary leaders and teams across the organization to positively impact revenue cycle quality and applications, enhancing financial performance and the patient experience. Analyzes data and trends, making data-driven recommendations that promote revenue cycle quality, operational efficiency, and patient safety and satisfaction. Oversees the development, delivery, and maintenance of assigned revenue cycle software applications to ensure alignment with project and operational plans. Serves as a liaison between revenue cycle operations, revenue cycle Health Information Technology, system users, and vendors. Performs human resources responsibilities for staff, including interviewing and selecting new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale. Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives. Ensures compliance with the organization’s Code of Ethical Conduct and applicable policies, regulations, and laws, both personally and for supervised employees. Identifies and administers certification requirements for applicable team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years in Revenue Cycle Operations that includes experience in quality assurance in a revenue cycle setting leading groups and collaborating on business processes within an integrated health care system.
  • This experience should include at least 1 year of supervisory experience in managing staff and budgets.
