About The Position

As a Manager of Revenue Cycle Management you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the revenue cycle with our health plan partners, from new implementation, claims processing, payment collection, and denial management. You'll ensure efficient operations, optimize revenue capture, and ensure compliance with industry regulations though a period of rapid growth, establishing practices, protocols and systems to guarantee success. You will be reporting to the VP of Finance Office Location: We are a hybrid company based in the Bay Area with offices in both San Francisco & Menlo Park. We care about work-life balance, and understand that there will be times where flexibility is needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Deep expertise in medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10), and payer policies across Medicare Stars and risk adjustment programs.
  • Proven ability to analyze RCM data, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve financial outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop a remote team.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end claims operations: submission, denial resolution, payment posting, and reconciliation.
  • Manage payer relationships including recurring denial review calls and fee schedule implementation.
  • Hire, train, and develop a team of medical billers to maintain high performance and compliance.
  • Analyze denial trends and coordinate with coding and clinical operations to address root causes.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to evaluate RCM software and optimize the claims pipeline
