Our goal is to be the leading provider of first-line ambulatory ECG monitoring for patients at risk for arrhythmias. iRhythm’s continuous ambulatory monitoring has already put over 1 million patients and their doctors on a shorter path to what they both need – answers. iRhythm is currently seeking a Manager of Revenue Cycle Management to lead and oversee operational performance across defined revenue cycle functions. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Revenue Cycle Management, this role is responsible for driving day-to-day execution, ensuring KPI performance, leading people and vendor management activities, and supporting strategic initiatives across front-end and/or back-end revenue cycle operations. The Manager serves as a key operational leader within RCM, accountable for translating strategy into execution, maintaining strong operational controls, and ensuring teams and vendors consistently meet performance, quality, and compliance expectations. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support process optimization, system enhancements, and scalable operating models across the claim lifecycle. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management with strong exposure to front-end and/or back-end operations.
  • 3–5+ years of people leadership experience within an RCM, billing, or healthcare operations environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or supporting outsourced RCM vendors, including performance oversight and issue escalation.
  • Proven success driving operational improvement initiatives and delivering measurable performance outcomes.
  • Strong working knowledge of payer requirements, denial management, cash collections, and AR strategies.
  • Strong operational knowledge of end-to-end revenue cycle workflows and performance drivers.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into corrective actions and improvement plans.
  • Effective leader with strong coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable leading cross-functional collaboration and influencing without direct authority.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, compliance, and operational consistency.
  • Proficient in using dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics to support decision-making.
  • Patient-focused mindset with a commitment to improving the financial experience through operational excellence.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in healthcare revenue cycle, billing, or compliance (e.g., CRCR, CPB)
  • Experience working in a complex healthcare, specialty, professional, or DME billing environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily operations for assigned revenue cycle teams and vendor partners across front-end and/or back-end functions.
  • Drive accountability for performance against KPIs including clean claim rate, denial and rejection trends, AR aging, DSO, cash collections, turnaround times, and quality audit outcomes.
  • Lead and support people management activities, including coaching, performance management, development planning, and succession readiness.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex operational issues, payer challenges, billing discrepancies, patient financial concerns, and vendor performance risks.
  • Partner with Senior Manager and vendor stakeholders to support vendor governance, SLA management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Compliance, Patient Services, Market Access, and Commercial teams to support workflow optimization, system enhancements, and operational readiness.
  • Support and lead implementation of process improvements, operational changes, and transformation initiatives aligned to organizational revenue cycle goals.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, internal controls, and compliance requirements, including HIPAA, payer billing standards, and internal audit expectations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, tracking, and reporting for operational risks, issues, dependencies, and improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and present operational performance updates, insights, and recommendations to RCM leadership.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, quality, collaboration, and patient-centered financial practices.
