About The Position

This position is responsible for providing strategic direction and execute all projects and initiatives that support sales in the retail stores. Support and direct all retail management to ensure all retail locations are in compliance with the Company’s operational policies and procedures. Help lead in-store customer experience initiatives by regulatory auditing store environments (i.e., store visits), gathering associate and customer feedback and driving continuous improvement across all touchpoints. Lead cross-functional project management across multiple simultaneous initiatives, ensuring clear ownership, on-time delivery and alignment with business priorities. Update, create, and enhance operational policies and procedures, technical systems, manuals, and training programs. Proactively identify emerging retail trends, technologies and consumer behaviors to inform forward-thinking operation strategies and keep the business ahead of the curve. Develop, bid, and prioritize vendor contracts for all retail locations. Coordinate all packaging programs and manage inventory, inclusive of retail stores, e-commerce, and international wholesale. Identify operational impacts within projects and recommend strategic strategies to improve processes. Execute various duties associated with the opening of new stores and existing store renovations; inclusive of the ordering of supplies, logistics, organizing stock, maintaining the calendar, executing opening, reviewing and approving operational vendors and shop drawings, managing owner supplied vendors, working with store design firm and Regional Managers through the process. Serve as a liaison between retail stores and the corporate partners. Maintain and develop relationships with key partners in order to foster cohesive results and actionable plans and operational projects. Manage the flow of information to and from the store focusing on streamlining tasks, balancing workload, and ensuring execution of tasks in the field while maintaining excellent customer service. Partner with all business partners to communicate more strategically in what and how they communicate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in skills and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of apparel retail experience.
  • 1-2 years managerial experience with warehouse and distribution operations including retail logistics across multiple store locations.
  • Solid understanding of retail supply chain, inventory control and common retail store operations and procedures.
  • Professional leadership abilities with tactful communication skills: oral, written and group presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously with strong command of project tracking, prioritization, and stakeholder communication in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of improving in-store customer experience through operational changes, associate training, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Familiarity with retail technology platforms (POS systems, inventory management, workforce scheduling tools) and enthusiasm for adopting new solutions.
  • Exposure to omnichannel retail operations, including e-commerce fulfillment and the integration of digital and physical store experiences.
  • Systematic, determined and extremely organized with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytic, problem solving and judgment skills.
  • Must be able to speak effectively before groups and individuals including Senior Executive staff, corporate and field employees, vendors, and customers.
  • Knowledge in utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Internet.
  • Experience establishing store calendar, store structure and IT setup.
  • Experience with new store openings process.
