About The Position

The ASM Retail Operations Inventory & Workforce Management Analyst is responsible for supporting and executing sales, payroll, inventory management, and reporting processes across North America for freestanding stores. This role acts as a central point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring consistency, alignment, and excellence in labor budgeting, inventory control, and operational reporting. The position requires strong analytical, project management, and communication skills, with a focus on driving operational efficiency, revenue growth, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Finance, Business, or related quantitative fields required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Retail Store Management; experience in Store Operations, Finance, or Marketing preferred.
  • Quantitatively oriented with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize/manage workflow independently.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Intermediate proficiency preferred).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting (pivot tables, formulas, charts), with experience using SQL for data extraction and Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations preferred.
  • Experience with consumer engagement platforms and WFM systems (Blue Yonder preferred).
  • Up to 20% travel to stores and affiliates.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis to support forecasting, labor generation, scheduling, and budgeting for North America stores.
  • Validate forecast accuracy and ensure correct models by brand/store/market and seasonality.
  • Prepare and cascade payroll budgets, model labor across store types, and create store-specific monthly labor budgets.
  • Provide monthly reporting for Finance and support annual budget processes.
  • Develop and deploy payroll guidance tools for field leadership and store teams.
  • Support enhancements to labor models and WFM systems, ensuring accuracy of forecasts and metrics.
  • Deliver timely resolutions for workforce management and payroll planning issues.
  • Execute the Cycle Count process, partnering with Planning, Communications, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Monitor negative variances in inventory, analyze trends, and report data.
  • Initiate and analyze weekly inventory reporting for store and field leadership teams.
  • Oversee compliance reporting reflective of shipment delivery analysis and support margin protection initiatives.
  • Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams including Planning, Inventory Management, Finance, Marketing, Communications, and IT.
  • Maintain positive, consistent written, and verbal communications with store teams and program leadership.
  • Provide business support for all field and functional teams, ensuring alignment and clarity.
  • Provide ongoing requirements of support for Opterus (Estee Central) related issues, including troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution.
