About The Position

We are currently looking for an Inventory Management Analyst II to join our team in Mt. Juliet, TN. The Inventory Management Analyst serves as a key contributor within the Inventory Management team, responsible for driving inventory strategy and optimizing service parts investment across the North American region, including the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role ensures high part availability across 16 regional warehouses that supply Nissan dealers and Infiniti retailers with the parts required to service customer vehicles. This position is highly strategic, with a primary focus on forecast management and improving forecast accuracy. The role also includes oversight of end-of-lifecycle processes for aging parts and ongoing process improvements to enhance lifecycle management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in an analytical role related to forecasting, statistics, supply chain management, or a comparable discipline
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Inventory management experience
  • Ability to perform work onsite at Mt. Juliet, TN

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting Strategy: Monitor forecast accuracy and make forecast adjustments.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Manage forecast parameters and segmentation.
  • Test and simulate proposed forecast segment parameter changes.
  • Provide general forecast training for Supply Chain Management analysts.
  • Support forecasting across initial, near-term, and long-term service parts demand.
  • Lifecycle Management: Identify and analyze excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Support long-term buy and scrap decisions.
  • Inventory Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and perform root cause analysis.
  • Propose continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Test and simulate proposed inventory management changes.
