About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of respiratory therapy or related experience
  • 3+ years in a leadership role
  • At least 2 years of direct respiratory therapy experience
  • California Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Asthma & pulmonary care, respiratory equipment, patient safety, care coordination, patient education, quality improvement, clinical standards, mentoring, resource management, and service excellence.

  • Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and data security
  • Identify risks, enforce safety protocols, and oversee corrective actions
  • Patient Care Leadership Oversee patient assessments and care plan development
  • Ensure safe care delivery, infection control, and treatment effectiveness
  • Guide teams in managing complex cases and discharge planning
  • Quality Improvement Lead initiatives to improve care quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Resolve complex patient issues and complaints
  • Drive process improvements using data and feedback
  • Support development of new services aligned with healthcare trends
