Cowbell Cyber is hiring a Manager, Renewals to join our Go to Market team. The Manager, Renewals will lead and develop a team of Renewal Account Executives. This role is responsible for setting retention strategy, prioritizing policy and premium retention across the team’s book, and driving consistent execution against renewal goals. The Manager will coach and mentor team members, monitor performance and pipeline health, provide actionable feedback, and serve as a point of escalation for complex renewals, while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture focused on retention excellence. The Manager, Renewals will also manage a growing book of renewal business within their region. They will nurture relationships with agents and brokers to ensure Cowbell remains their number one option for clients. They are able to identify and overcome obstacles and challenges, identify opportunities for further growth, and create awareness of Cowbell’s key strategic advantages.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of insurance experience in account management or business development, preferably with a carrier.
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams in a Sales or Renewals environment.
  • Proven ability to build, coach, and scale high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated success driving account and premium retention.
  • Strong cyber acumen or the ability to ramp quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial insurance experience preferred; Cyber, Tech E&O, or Professional Lines a plus.

Responsibilities
