The mission of the Anoka County Economic Assistance Department is to provide effective services that uphold dignity and promote self-sufficiency. As the Manager of Public Assistance, you will play a critical leadership role in advancing this mission by overseeing the efficient delivery of public assistance programs and front-line services. This position is responsible for managing a diverse team of public assistance employees and coordinating operations throughout the department. You will lead strategic initiatives to improve service delivery, implement new and changing programs and policies, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. This role also requires a balance of operational expertise, strategic planning, and people leadership to ensure programs meet performance standards and community needs.
