Prudential Advisors is presently looking for a Program Manager to join their Wealth and Financial Planning Team. Program Manager reports directly to the Director, Financial Planning. The Program Manager has two key areas of responsibility. The primary one is the facilitation, delivery, and consultative activities of Financial Planning training and development events for Advisors and Management. The secondary, but as important, responsibility is the review, participation in the designing of, and updating of the producer and management curriculum, training processes, and key consultative development initiatives on a national scope.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
  • Series 7, 65 or 66 required
  • Five plus years of experience in Investment Advisory product.
  • Five plus years of experience with working on remote teams, facilitating and coordinating training and development processes, and projects
  • Experience facilitating and delivering training to groups of people who are both experienced and inexperienced and coaching them on execution and implementation of the training
  • Experiencing working on centralized training teams who are specialists that support the field
  • Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills
  • Analytical skills and experience in identifying gaps in skills and knowledge
  • Strong relationship building, partnering, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to recommend and implement creative solutions for skill and process improvements
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills especially in the area of virtual training and development
  • Demonstrated ability and skills to operate independently on a national scope
  • Travel 25-50%.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate, deliver curriculum and Training & Development events for Advisors and Management
  • Identify gaps in skills and knowledge in the curriculum and training processes
  • Communicate these gaps, recommend and implement solutions partnering with the Director, Financial Planning, the Curriculum design team, and Subject Matter Experts
  • Focus on achieving the performance objectives and metrics
  • Synthesize information from the metrics and a variety of sources to maintain an overall picture of the organization’s efforts and impact in the field
  • Recommend and facilitate solutions when problems are identified
  • Participate as a member of the team, understanding the strategic goals of the organization, providing feedback on how the team can optimally support the achievement of these goals
  • Communicate key issues to the Director to identify additional strategies, curriculum, and learning events
  • Ensure the utilization and implementation of all training methods at a national level (with a heavy emphasis on technology and virtual tools), based upon the field needs, training topics, and Prudential Advisors initiatives and key strategies
  • Ensure that there is strong collaboration with the field that provides for the development of Financial Professional’s skills and knowledge
  • Work with the Director to ensure that the field leadership understands how the team supports the achievement of the firms objectives
  • Partner with home office Subject Matter Expert teams for cross training in each division and the execution nationally of the training strategy
