As a Program Manager Lead at Google, you lead complex, multidisciplinary projects. You plan requirements with customers (mainly stakeholders) and own projects and capacity delivery for the operations teams. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks (escalation management), and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span multiple locations, time zones, and it's your job to keep all the stakeholders coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines. The Data Center Operations Fleet PMO facilitates and meets customers' needs by enabling Google’s Global Data Center Operations to deliver capacity securely, reliably and optimizing fleet lifecycle operations. Our mission is to facilitate Google’s Global Data Center and server operations team. We drive operational excellence through the consistent and predictable delivery of fleet deployment, operations and maintenance programs. Our team serves as Data Center PM authority on fleet deployment, operations programs and project delivery. We maintain full oversight of the overall fleet lifecycle portfolio. We keep Data Center and Global Server Operations leadership team and the overall TI & Data Center community informed. Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running.
