Program Manager II, Infrastructure Planning, Cloud Supply Chain

GoogleAtlanta, GA

About The Position

Our team manages a new type of data center infrastructure that offloads power infrastructure from server racks into independent power racks that enables high density deployments of TPUs and GPUs within data centers. As a Supply Chain Planning Program Manager, you are responsible for the end-to-end supply orchestration of Google’s high-density power systems. You serve as the critical link between AI demand forecasting and physical data center readiness, ensuring that the specialized power racks required are available to meet the explosive growth of ML platforms. By consolidating demand streams, creating supply plans, and directly driving manufacturing and procurement requirements, you remove the power bottlenecks that would otherwise limit the scale of Google's most advanced AI clusters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience with supply planning of hardware manufacturing and procurement.
  • Experience working with datasets across multiple planning systems.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with optimizing and evolving ERP systems specific to new product requirements.
  • Experience with aligning disparate data sources to generate a single, reliable source of truth.
  • Experience with up-leveling allocation tradeoffs of constrained resources to identify the solution that enables highest output and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with creating business requirements and working with engineering teams to land business solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate complex demand streams into a unified supply plan for all infrastructure.
  • Partner with delivery teams to balance material arrivals with material availability, site-readiness, and the critical path.
  • Work with engineering teams to understand the technical roadmap of power racks and design planning systems that can incorporate new technologies and deployment strategies.
  • Strategize supply to ensure rack availability to meet the scaling needs of GPUs and TPUs. Work directly with commodity managers and manufacturing partners to deconflict supply constraints.
