We are seeking a Finance leader to join Mission Systems as the MGR, PRGRM COST CNTRLS. This is a remote-based position supporting our Largo, FL location. In this role you will provide Finance Operations support to the Largo Manufacturing Center and the Business Portfolios (Resilient Connectivity Products (RCP) and potentially other Mission Systems and Collins Aerospace businesses. You will have daily interaction with Manufacturing, Operations and Program Management, and other Finance functions that allow you to influence decisions and create value. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, collaborative, analytical and communication skills. The position also requires the ability to understand how Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Government Compliance guidelines and Collins Aerospace Finance policies apply to business situations. Requirements

  • Typically requires 8+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 5+ years prior relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related field
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Experience using SAP, APEX, or similar system
  • Experience with MS Office tools
  • Ability to participate regularly onsite

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and/or other Government Procurement regulations as they pertain to Bid/Cost proposals
  • Knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area.
  • Knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
  • An active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is preferred prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead for our Largo Finance operations organization.
  • Train, mentor, solve problems and provide guidance to the entire Largo finance operations team
  • Lead project teams, provide training, and formal or informal mentorships with peers or direct reports
  • Strategic mindset and constant collaboration with your leadership, your leads, peers, and analysts to create a strong brand for the site's financial support.
  • Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis and Latest Revised Estimates (LRE) on a monthly basis including estimate of costs, test of reasonableness analysis, and risk and opportunities assessment at the Program / Product / Mission area level.
  • Perform detailed EV and financial analysis to budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions.
  • Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts
