The Manager of Production Operations, reporting to the director of the Livestream & Social Content, is responsible for helping to build this function from the ground up, and establishing processes that will allow for the output of high-volume, high-quality livestream content for all livestream channels. In this role, you will be responsible for translating the evolving livestream strategy into an organized production flow and leading the operation of our livestream studios, equipment, and remote productions. This role involves managing logistics, resources, and team collaboration to ensure smooth production processes and the delivery of high-quality content. As the primary liaison between the sales strategists and in-studio production team, you will be well-versed in the best practices for the various platforms and deeply invested in the brand identity of QVC and HSN. You will make sure that content coming out of this innovative workflow is consistent, efficient, and meets the expectations of the platform without sacrificing quality.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Broadcast/Live Production experience
  • 1+ years of social and streaming production experience
  • Experience with product acquisition for productions
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the best practices, visual identity, and production techniques of social, streaming, and linear platforms to ensure content creation and delivery of assets that feel authentic and right for the intended platform
  • Expertise and experience with production equipment including efficiency in lighting, VMix, camera operation, and microphones.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with various departments (Livestream Content, Product Central/Showroom, Social Strategy, etc) to develop and communicate detailed production plans.
  • Determine areas of increased efficiency and coordinate any necessary additional assets to best optimize content.
  • Oversee procurement of product needed for productions and manage timelines of shift to ensure producers/talent are getting the appropriate amount of resources for each show.
  • Partner with Associate Producers during pre-production to coordinate sample procurement via PAF or Media Order.
  • Collaborate with producers and talent to align production efforts with creative vision, and facilitate communication between production team and platform strategy teams.
  • Monitor production and address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Communicate with team on status of deliverables, and identify areas of opportunity for new processes to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and organized.
  • Lead and manage Production Coordinator Team to ensure seamless support during production.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members for development and growth.
